Day 679- Boise Bound

WE ARE MOVING TO BOISE!!
Our bags are packed and we are on our way to a new adventure!

I got a great job offer as a Dental Technician with the company I worked for in Yakima, Affordable Dentures, and we just couldn't turn it down.

What is Kyle going to do you ask?
He will find a job there and continue some schooling.

Our hearts are torn in half...we are so sad to leave Idaho Falls yet so excited for this new adventure in Boise.
Everything is pointing us to Boise, we know it is the right move for us at this time.
Our prayers have been answered in many different ways.

Thank you to all our family and friends who have helped support us in this wonderful move in our life!

I start training the week of April 8th for two weeks down in Ogden Ut... just to get me out of the swing of sewing and into the swing of dentures again.
We will be officially moving the week of April 22nd.
And I report to work Monday April 29th and the office will open May 2nd!

Day 674- Drive by Shooting?

I am not going to lie... I NEVER thought my car window would get shot out in Idaho Falls, Maybe Yakima but definitely not Idaho Falls.
But I was wrong...
We came out one morning last week and found this....
 Not Cool!
Luckily nothing was stolen...and there was stuff worth stealing in there.
The Cop said that is what board teenagers do, drive around and shoot Beebe's at car windows
......uggg it makes me so mad!
Those punks probably don't even feel bad. but they totally ruined my day!
But Thankfully I have a super handyman husband!
By lunch time he had found a replacement window at a salvage yard!
The only down fall....it was a tinted window.
BUT don't even worry Kyle fixed that!

Then he spent the next few hours putting the window in for me....

After getting the panel off the door he vacuumed the inside of the door until there was no more sounds of glass when you raddled or closed the door. He was very thorough!

It really pays off to have a handy husband!
I am so grateful for the long hard work he put in to make sure i had a window by the next day ... no garbage bag window for me :)
Note to self: Do not park in Kyle's Parking spot....you may wake up the next morning without a car window!

Day 673- Baby Shower

My amazing Sister inlaw is having a baby in a Month!
And she is having a little Girl!!

I have had way to much fun making and buying things for this little lady....

First off i made a diaper clutch.....

Some burp cloths!
A few people told me that cloth diapers are amazing burp cloths
(good at absorbing i would assume) so i dressed them up with some cute flannel!
But sadly i forgot to get a close up picture :(
I also made some little Mary Jane shoes....oh my heck they were so tiny and adorable!

Then i found the cutest mint skinny jeans...they were so cute i couldn't talk myself out of them even though they were NB and i knew she would maybe wear them once i still had to get them....then i made Cat promise to keep them as hand-me-downs. Now lets hope mint skinny jeans are still in style when we get around to having kids :)  And i got her a chevron onesie to match!
And a headband of course!!
You can see the fun stuff in the picture below.

Kyle had been wanting to buy Todd a bigger ammo can (boys and their guns again) so we thought it would be fun to fill it with diapers and wipes....and other cute stuff of course!
So technically we gave a gift for the whole family right?

At the shower we made headbands and we decoraded onesies!

Aunt Lori on the left and Brittany on the right, showing us their adorable onesies!
We also ate onesies!
 Lemon Raspberry sugar cookies...mmm!
It was such a fun baby shower!
I was at the ironing board and cricut most of the shower helping with the onesies so i didnt get to make much for the little lady... once the party got over i made a few onesies and headbands.
These are two of the ones i made.

Day 657- If your name is Kaeleen...

Ever since we moved to Idaho Falls I have driven the same route to the grocery story every week....and every week I pass by a Floral shop that has a sign out front that says
If your name is _________ Come in for a free Rose!

I saw every name you can think of....
Mary
Ella
Sarah
Malorie
Katherine

All but mine.

As Kyle and I drove past a while back I mentioned to him it was my dream to have my name on their sign.....

A few weeks later look what I saw!!!
Yeah, it's official I have the best husband ever!

Day 649- Kyle's Birthday!

Happy Birthday to you...
Happy Birthday to you....
Happy Birthday to my wonderful Husband....
Happy Birthday to you!!

I absolutely LOVE Birthdays!!
It is the perfect excuse to eat cake and ice cream (for breakfast), go out to dinner, have friends and family over, buy things for the special person!
I think i was more excited for Kyles Birthday then he was...

As His birthday came closer he kept talking about how he wanted to buy a shotgun
what is it with boys and guns? anyone know?
So I figured weather i like it or not he is going to buy this new gun, so naturally started looking for a good deal on the gun he wanted, I thought it would be more fun to surprise him with it for this birthday (i was right)
I learned more about guns in those few days then i thought I would ever know haha... My dad even came to visit for the weekend to help me shop and to help us celebrate!

WE FOUND KYLE THE PERFECT SHOT GUN!!
It was a better one then he had been looking at, Thanks to my dad chipped in as his gift too.

I also made Kyle a batman Quilt.... the gun was a lot more exciting though.

It was a fun few days!

Day 645- A {semi-permanent} house guest

We made a quick last minute trip to Montana last month...
It was so fun to have a Saturday off work and to spend time with family.

When it came time to leave we decided it would be fun to bring Bell (Kyles 2 year old boxer) back with us...we knew we would be coming back to Montana in a few weeks so if things didn't work out with her she could always go back to staying with Kyles folks until we have a bigger house and yard.
So we loaded the kennel and Bell and back to Idaho we went!

This first few days were an adjustment...
...Country dog living in the city.

but by the end of the week we had all pretty much got in a routine and things were good!
She actually stole a little piece of my heart.
She is such a great dog!
And so much fun to have around...as long as you are paying attention to her.

 Isn't she just adorable!?

Day 642- Valentines!

I always see cute goodie bags at the store when i don't need them, but as soon as i need them i can never find what i am looking for!
(story of my life, its the same with clothes!)
anyway, so after a few weeks of searching and buying a few things i thought i could make work i finally decided to take the others back and make my own... so i went to Walmart and bought a book of tracing paper and got started. It was so much cheaper and just what i had in mind (minus the cute chevron stripes).
Then i made little tags for each treat...
SweetTart Hearts....You're such a sweet heart.
Swedish Fish.... You are the sweetest fish we know.
Gummy Bears.... You are Beary Cool.
Wrapped a little bakers twine on them and shipped them off to our nieces and nephews.

Who would of thought the package to Virgina would arrive before the one that got sent to the next state...Silly post office.

It was a fun little project...
